3rd Lent -C

This passage is from one of the many parables Jesus used to illustrate a point or teach a lesson.  The owner of the vinyard wants to cut the tree down because it has born no fruit for three years.  The vinedresser replies, 'Let it alone, sir, this year also, till I dig about it and put on manure.  And if it bears fruit next year,well  and good; but if not, you can cut it down.' "There is help for us all.  With the proper care and nourishment, we can all be saved.
